This bespoke boot room was designed to provide elegant yet practical storage for a busy family home. The brief called for a refined space that could manage coats, shoes, and accessories with ease, while maintaining a warm and inviting aesthetic that complemented the home’s character.

The installation combines classic joinery detailing with modern functionality, creating a cohesive and timeless space.

• Internals: Constructed from Egger Kendal Oiled Oak MFC, chosen for its natural oak appearance, durability, and easy-clean surface — offering a premium internal finish that pairs beautifully with the painted exterior.
• Cabinetry: The exterior is built from Hidrofugo MDF for superior strength and moisture resistance, ideal for high-traffic areas such as boot rooms.
• Finish: All exterior components were professionally spray-painted in a soft blush tone with a satin finish, providing a durable, elegant surface that adds warmth to the hallway.
• Bench Seat & Detailing: The solid oak bench seat introduces a natural contrast, complementing the Egger oak interiors and oak flooring to create visual harmony throughout the space.
• Storage & Functionality:
  • Full-height cupboards for coats, bags, and household items.
  • Built-in seating with drawer storage beneath for shoes and accessories.
  • A coat-hanging area with brass hooks for quick, accessible everyday use.
• Ironmongery: Finished with brushed brass handles and knobs, providing a touch of sophistication that ties the whole design together.
